Fingerprint Scanner Problems
The first problem to address is the fingerprint scanner. In the last minute, Samsung has already put screen protectors on all their Galaxy S10 models prior to the shipment, ưhich makes the fingerprint scanner setup difficult. You will need to press very hard to unlock your phone, and you might get a few failed attempts during the setup process.
However, you should not worry as Samsung already issued a quick software update to improve the fingerprint reader speed and reliability. - Press and hold down on any blank space to zoom out a layout page. It will then give you setting or wallpaper options.
- Tap on the gear-shaped settings icon.

Additionally, there is another helpful tip for WiFi issues. Simply head to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Advanced Settings and then disable Wi-Fi sleep option. Now, all your apps and services still use WiFi, and you don’t need to turn on the screen while updating apps.
Always On Display & Lift To Wake Problems
Samsung has already added a new “lift to wake” feature to the new Galaxy S10 lineup. So, when you pick it up, the screen automatically turns on. While this feature is great, we’re seeing a number of complaints that the lift to wake makes the phone wakeup in the pocket, which is draining the battery so fast.
Here is how you can change, customize, and tweak the Lift To Wake or AOD feature.
Head to Settings > Lock screen and tap on Always-On Display option. From here, customize and change the entire experience as your preference.
Next, head back to the main Settings and navigate to Advanced Features > Motions and gestures and toggle off Lift to wake feature. You can also kill the “double tap to wake” section if your phone keeps waking up in your pocket. Samsung will fix this in the feature update.
